I looked at many web sites and several furniture stores and ended up ordering this pub table, hoping it would combine the best of all worlds. It did ! First, ordering was simple and delivery was quick. Second, the table is exactly as pictured - I was hoping for elegance at a price I could afford, and this table filled the bill. Third, though the table amply accomodates 2 huge dinners or 4 smaller dinners, it takes up a surprisingly small amount of space. Fourth, assembly is easy, but you DO need a second person to help eyeball where to center the glass top (just as the directions state.) I did it myself, but I would recommend having a 2nd pair of hands, not because of the weight so much, but rather because centering the glass top fools your eye. Fifth, the glass top is beveled - a lovely touch which I was not expecting. Sixth, the height of almost 41 inches would accomodate any bar stool. I was concerned about removing the label sticker stuck onto the leg with chemical remover, because the directions said to not use harsh chemicals on the finish, but the remover did not damage the finish. Still, it would have been nice if the manufacturer had used a label that removes instantly and leaves no residue. Anyway, love the table. Excellent purchase, excellent value.
